How Does This Affordability Tool Work?

We combine official household income data from DOSM (Department of Statistics Malaysia) with real new launch property prices from our database of 522+ projects. For each state, we calculate whether the median household can afford the median new launch using standard bank lending criteria (70% DSR, 35-year tenure, 4.5% interest rate, 10% down payment). You can adjust the salary slider on each state page to check your personal affordability.
