Income data is sourced from the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) Household Income Survey. Property prices reflect current new launch asking prices from our database of 522+ active projects. The price-to-income ratio divides the median new launch price by annual median household income — ratios below 5x are considered affordable by international standards. CPI (Consumer Price Index) data measures the cost of living relative to a base year.
